TMNZ Wraps Up Another Successful Weet-Bix™ Kids TRYathlon Series

From the first light of morning to the final pack‑down of the season, TMNZ has been proud to support the Sanitarium Weet-Bix™ Kids TRYathlon series with dedicated, on-the-ground event traffic management. Our teams have been out before dawn at each event, bringing safety, expertise, and reliability to every road closure, detour, and intersection—ensuring thousands of young athletes could enjoy an unforgettable day.

At the New Plymouth event, our crew was back in action early, setting up Temporary Traffic Management for more than 1,500 excited participants. The TRYathlon is a milestone for Kiwi kids aged 6 to 15, and with a course weaving through parkland and local roads, precision was essential. Our team worked tirelessly to create smooth transitions, safe crossings, and a stress-free environment for families cheering from the sidelines. We’re incredibly proud to work alongside the event organisers, helping bring this iconic Kiwi experience to life safely and seamlessly.

This final event marked the end of the Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon season, and wrapping up the series nationwide has been a privilege. Each location brought its own unique challenges—crowds, complex logistics, and constantly shifting conditions—but these are exactly the environments where TMNZ’s event management team thrives. With experience across marathons, triathlons, cycling races, parades and more, our flexible resource base and tactical approach ensure safety without compromise. Our on-the-ground event managers collaborate closely with stakeholders to make real-time decisions that keep events running smoothly, no matter what the day brings.

As we close out another successful season, we’re grateful for the trust placed in us and proud to have played a part in creating memorable experiences for young New Zealanders and their families. If you’re planning an event and want to ensure a smooth, safe experience for everyone involved, get in touch with TMNZ—we’re here to help bring your event to life safely and seamlessly.
