Make the Commitment to Drive So Others Survive

At TMNZ, safety isn’t just a value—it’s part of who we are. That’s why we’re proud to stand behind National Road Safety Week (NRSW) and invite you to help create safer roads for all.

A powerful way to take part is by making the official pledge “Drive So Others Survive" commitment. It’s a meaningful promise every driver can make to help protect everyone on the road.

What You’re Committing To

  • Drive with the mindset that someone you care about is in the car ahead.

  • Stay focused by putting your phone and other distractions aside.

  • Never drive under the influence, when tired, or over the speed limit.

  • Look out for vulnerable road users—like road workers, cyclists, pedestrians, and motorcyclists—by slowing down and giving them space.

Why Your Choice Matters

Every time you get behind the wheel, your actions can save lives. By choosing to drive safely, you're not only protecting yourself—you’re helping to make roads safer for everyone. This small act carries a powerful message: safety is everyone’s responsibility.

A Call to Parents and Role Models

If you know a learner driver or young person starting their journey on the road, now is the perfect time to lead by example. Talk to them about safe driving, encourage them to take the pledge, and invite their friends to do the same.

Spread the Word

Once you've taken the pledge, download your digital badge—“I Proudly Made the Pledge to Drive So Others Survive”—and share it across your social media with the hashtag #NRSW2025 . Your action might inspire others to do the same.
